Co-Founder / PartnerMike Bryce
Mike is the Founder of The Bryce Group, where he works with business owners to help them navigate partnerships and exit strategy opportunities. He brings a relationship-driven approach—taking the time to understand how a business operates before connecting it with the right buyer. He works primarily with owner-operated and lower-middle-market companies in field service industries, serving as a trusted connector between founders and acquisition groups building long-term growth platforms.
Prior to co-founding The Bryce Group, Mike spent eight years at Briscoe & Associates, in the role of VP of Business Development. That experience gives him a deep understanding of deal structuring, valuation, and successful outcomes.
Based in Northern Michigan, Mike enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and two young children. He’s an avid golfer and skier and finds a work/life balance through meditation and yoga.
Co-Founder/ Head of ResearchSteph Bryce
Steph holds a Masters Degree from Michigan State University in Clinical Social Work. Spending most of her career in the human services field, she was honored when asked to step into an administrative role and help The Bryce Group Team with building the business from its inception. Steph supports The Bryce Group team in facilitating NDAs and signed Agreements, updating the CRM, initial industry searches along with confirming contact lists and ongoing updates and researching potential Target companies.
Steph loves an adventure. Her favorite times are spent with her kids and husband doing anything and everything. She also enjoys her solitude meditating and teaching meditation to others.
PartnerJimmy Fitzgerald
Jimmy joins The Bryce Group with a diverse background spanning real estate finance and nonprofit management. He began his career on the Acquisitions & Investments team at Core Spaces, a real estate investment firm. At Core, he focused on deal sourcing, underwriting, transaction management, investor relations, and project entitlements. Following his time at Core, Jimmy joined The Wisdom Dojo, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting veteran mental health. At the dojo, Jimmy serves as Director of Finance & Operations. In this role, he leads financial planning and analysis, grant writing, tax reporting, full-cycle accounting, and day-to-day operational oversight. Jimmy continues to actively serve The Wisdom Dojo alongside his work with The Bryce Group.
Prior to his career in business, Jimmy was a student-athlete at Dartmouth College, where he graduated with a B.A. in Psychology. Originally from Champaign, IL, Jimmy now lives in New York with his girlfriend Lorna.
Strategic Advisor Larry Morgan
Larry serves as a Strategic Advisor to The Bryce Group, bringing three decades of unmatched experience in mergers and acquisitions within the building materials and construction industries. Since 1995, Larry and his associates have successfully completed over 100 acquisitions with every major buyer in the industry. Raised in a small town in Iowa with a local lumberyard, Larry developed an early appreciation for the people, tools, and materials that define the construction world. Rather than owning a company himself, he discovered his true calling: helping owners successfully sell theirs. Over the past 30 years, Larry has been among the most successful mergers and acquisitions advisors in the country.
Larry is passionate about helping owners thoughtfully position their businesses for a successful, profitable exit and considers it a privilege to guide them through that journey.
